When he was a preteen in Hebrew School, Jared Gimbel LOVED drawing cartoon animals in his notebook. Piranhas in particular were his favorite.

After some time in various graduate school programs where people told him what to do a bit too much, Jared founded Kaverini, a game company whose name means "my buddy / my buddies" in Finnish. 

He then realized he could draw those same cartoon animals in his video games. And then this merch store was born at the advice of people who wanted those same animals on shirts and mugs.

Kaverini games bring the world and its cultures to life with two-dimensional bright colored cuteness and offbeat humor. Life is tragicomic, the world doesn't always go the way you want it to, but the Kaverini way lies in finding the color, beauty and cuteness in everything.
